We bought this car as a group of 4 people so that we could take part in the 2025 Round Britain Reliability Run with Club Triumph. Before the RBRR, which we completed with no issues, we completely rebuilt all of the running gear, suspension, fuel system, brake system. We fitted new tyres, a new gearbox, had the propshaft and centre bearing rebuilt and balanced as well as a host of other refurbishments and new replacement parts.
British Motor Heritage Certificate obtained which shows this to be one of the, if not the oldest, Dolomite 1850 on the road. Build date is March 1972.
Needless to say, the car drives beautifully, yes it needs some cosmetic work, but it got a clean MOT with no advisories just before the RBRR in October last year. £6,200 ONO Simon Morgan (Telford)
