Becoming a member of the Triumph Sports Six Club brings a wide range of
benefits – some you will use regularly, some you may never need, and others that
could prove invaluable in helping you enjoy, maintain, and enhance your Triumph.
As a member of the TSSC, you are assured of the very best help and support
for your Triumph. You will have access to all the resources on our website and
qualify for discounted member prices in the Club Shop and for Valuations. You
can also place free Classifieds in The Courier magazine and on the TSSC website,
and you’ll be able to view sellers’ details on our Classifieds page.
If
you prefer not to join the TSSC and take advantage of member benefits, you can
still obtain a Valuation and purchase items from the Club Shop – just without
the discounts. Please visit the Valuations or Club Shop pages to register.
Standard members receive the award‑winning Courier magazine by post, with a
cheaper option available if you pay by Direct Debit. For overseas members,
higher prices simply reflect the additional postage required to deliver twelve
issues per year. Young members pay less because they typically earn less and may
otherwise struggle to afford membership – and they are the future of the club.
With Digital membership, all club correspondence, including The Courier,
will be received electronically. You will still be able to log in to the
website, order from our shop, buy tickets to events at member prices, and take
advantage of our preferential insurance deals.
An associate member is
someone living in the same household as a full member, such as a spouse or
partner. This option provides two memberships but only one copy of The Courier.
The Club’s award-winning magazine has been in print for over forty years and is published every month, with all back issues archived and available online for members.
The TSSC Club Shop provides top quality parts for most post-war Triumphs, from a set of spark plug leads for a Spitfire, brake callipers for a TR6 and Dolomite air filters, to a silicone hose set for a Bond, as well as club and Triumph clothing and merchandise. Club Members get a discount in the shop and free technical advice.
The Club has upwards of fifty local groups across the UK and a further 18 worldwide. Each has an Area Organiser who hosts monthly meetings, many also organise local events and car runs. The Club is also fortunate to have several areas that organise popular social weekends around the UK, as well as European trips including Le Mans and Laon Historique.
If you are stuck with that project and unsure on how to proceed, or you spotted a club car but didn’t recognise whose it was, try asking on the forum. The combined benefit of thousands of years of experience should see you sorted out with an answer.
Some parts are a great place for a general discussion, whilst others help with specific areas of the car, tools, techniques and theory.
TSSC Insurance is a scheme exclusively for TSSC Members, provided for the club's membership by Peter James Insurance. The cover includes a range of additional product benefits that are not available outside of this club membership scheme with Exclusive Rates, Member to Member cover (drive another club member’s Triumph regardless of who they insure with), Free Salvage Retention, Agreed Value from club experts, Tools & Spare Parts cover (up to £3000), TSSC Events cover, Young Driver cover, Reinstatement cover (optional extra), Breakdown Cover (UK & EU), Legal Expenses cover, Laid-Up cover. For more information on TSSC Insurance, click here, or to get an insurance quote for your Triumph, click here.
The club has many regular events, such as the very popular Classic Le Mans weekend, camping alongside this legendary track filled with racing classics,
the South of England Meet or the Isle of Wight weekend. Spares and parts, not just from the club shop but the many Triumph traders, large and small, are often to be found at these.
You may also see the club stand at classic car events like the NEC Classic Car Restoration Show.
The club runs technical seminars that range from the initial basics you might want to master when you first get a classic car, such as how to check and top up the oil,
through to in depth detailed explanations on major jobs such as a gearbox overhaul or an engine rebuild.
The club has dedicated tour organisers who sort out a range of tours across Britain and Europe such as the Laon Historique weekend and an Isle of Man trip.
They are also ready to help our members on their own trips with hotel and B&B reservations, planning routes, suggesting sights to add in, advising on insurance needs and so on.
