Herald 1200 Register
A new place for old cars… what more do we need?
Nice to see the website up and running again after so long; hopefully we’ll also add a discussion forum which is an essential backbone for any good club website and where people come for advice, news or just a good chat.
At present I’m working on two Heralds, have just MOT’d my GT6 (which had the worst welding ever done to a chassis outrigger and is an embarrassment until the part can be completely replaced…) and am waiting for a dry day to prepare the 1200 convertible for repainting and assembly. The parts have arrived back with me - not bad, they left last June!! - and so the preparation for reassembly can commence. All other bits - engine, gearbox, differential and suspension - were rebuilt ages ago and are awaiting dusting off and reattachment. It’s going to be a busy summer….
