IOW weekend 2026
Well the Triumph event season has started & what better way to start it, but with the IOW Weekend! Frances & I made our way there a week early, for a much needed break.
We enjoyed Drive it Day, at Godshill & I spotted the Standard 10 van that I saw last year, dressed as a fire engine support vehicle, which sadly used to be a Standard Triumph service van!
TSSC members started to arrive on the Thursday, with the majority arriving on the Friday. The first convoy was on Saturday & it was off to the IOW airport, travelling along some great lanes!
Sunday we accumulated at the top of the field as we always do for a convoy. This time we were going to Osbourne House, next door to the campsite so you would think it would be a quick trip. An hour & a bit later, after travelling to the opposite side of the island & back again, (great fun) during the convoy it broke up into four smaller convoys.
