When lockdown rules were relaxed and we could meet again we were only allowed in the pub garden. As it got dark around 8.30pm we decided to start at 6 rather than 8. This has stuck as the older amongst us like their tea early. Those hampered by work arrive when they can, unfortunately this means we have to stay in the pub from 6 till closing. :)
