Northern, Lancashire Area news
March area news
review, mainly because there hasn’t been much to report.
Those of you who receive emails from me will be aware that
we are intending to change our monthly meetings both
venues and day of meeting.
Two months ago we had a meeting whereby a good number
of members attended to discuss the ‘way forward’ for the
area. This, with another well attended meeting last month has
resulted in the following.
Continue with Tuesday meetings during the ‘winter’ months
but not at the Canberra club, and in the summer months
change to Sunday meetings, initially tagging onto one of the
breakfast meetings up and down the county. Also introducing
runs out on Sunday stopping off for a lunch break. For
example myself and Maria in our cars joined in on the
Mancester area’s run stopping off at Huntley’s on the A59 for
lunch……which could be a potential meeting place for us
(Lancashire)
Hopefully this change will get more of you coming along.
I have recently re-worked my e’mailing list, so if you haven’t
been receiving emails form me (and want too) let me know
