I won't go into too much detail here, suffice to say the weather, in-spite of the forecast, was good. Lots of fun was had at Forest Park campsite, with a meet and greet, bingo and meat raffle on the Friday, then on Saturday a drive out and a walking treasure hunt, followed by a meal for 64 of us, rounded off with a 60s and 70s cover band.
Sunday was the day of the 'Mile', and began with glorious sunshine for the 42 cars meeting at Forest Park. Following the run, more cars joined us at Holkham Hall, where we achieved just over 1/4 mile with 84 cars.
Judging by the comments folk had a great time. Will we be doing it again? Watch this space…
